Entrepreneur, Founder of Re-feeding America, and Author of Finding Tiger
My name is Megan Chen and I am 15 years old. I live in Newark, Delaware and attend Newark Charter School. I have always been an avid writer, from my school publication to now several news publications, writing has always been one of my passions. Earlier this year, I combined this hobby with an issue very personal to me, implicit bias and stereotyping, to create my first children’s book titled “Finding Tiger”. Along with this, I created a curriculum that teaches kids all about these serious issues but in a fun and interactive way. Taking this love for innovation, I also created my own business this year called Re-feeding America which tackles the imperative issue of food waste all across America. Through all of this, I took a great interest into entrepreneurship and I have now created an entrepreneurship club at my school. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, creating art, and figure skating.
